What is your policy on Payments and Cancellations?

Fees and Payment Due Dates:

• Time of application: Non-Refundable $80 Application Fee
• A Deposit $500 is due within one week of acceptance to confirm your spot on the program.
• The balance of the program fee is due 90 days prior to program start date.

Payments can be made to International Internships LLC by PayPal, Western Union, bank wire transfer, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.  Fees apply to payments by credit card and bank wire transfer.

Placement Guarantee:

Placements are commensurate with your education, experience and background - so please be realistic about what to expect. International Internships LLC will not undertake a placement search until a program deposit of $500 is received. If we don't find you a placement within your field commensurate with your education, experience and background, your deposit will be refunded in full. Withdrawals at any point during the search process, even if we haven't found your placement at the time of withdrawal, do not warrant a deposit refund. Only if we have exhausted our search and notify you that have not found a placement, will deposit refunds be issued.

(Important Note: Your essay is a guideline for your ideal internship but you should be realistic that assignments are based upon your CV and your academic and work experience.) 

Once a suitable assignment is found, you will be notified of your internship location. A suitable assignment is one that is commensurate with your education, experience and background in your field. You will not be given a range of placements to choose from and it will be up to you to formally accept it. If, however, we find you a suitable placement in your field and you turn it down, your deposit will be forfeit and that placement will be reassigned to someone else. We will attempt to find you another placement provided time allows for such but cannot guarantee one. If you should turn down your second offer, there is, again, no refund of your deposit. (Please note: Do not assume that any placement you turned down is still available to you if you decide at the last minute that you now want it.) If you should begin your internship and find it unsuitable for legitimate reasons, we will attempt to find you a new placement as quickly as possible after thoroughly exhausting all efforts to reconcile the situation.

If for any reason you should walk out of your internship prematurely (without cause), you may find yourself in jeopardy of being expelled from the program. Expulsion may jeopardize your visa to stay in the country and remain in your housing. Please consult our onsite coordinators to resolve any issues you may have before taking any drastic action.


Withdrawal/Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Our policy is different for interns on the J-1 USA internship or Trainee program.  See the USA page for details.

All refunds are based on written confirmation of participant withdrawal received by the International Internships LLC U.S. office. Telephone messages do NOT constitute proper notification. Program start dates begin at 12:00am on the date listed on the website unless a date change has been made and participants have been duly notified by email or letter. Placement search begins immediately at the time the deposit is received. ((All payments are to be made in U.S. Dollars. Payments may be made by check, money order, PayPal or credit card. Payments made by check or money order are eligible for a 1% cash discount. Late payments will be assessed a $150 late fee unless prior arrangements have been made with our U.S. office.)

1. Withdrawal after program deposit is received and placement search begins: Loss of Deposit
2. Withdrawal after final payment due date (10 weeks prior to program start date): No Refund
3. Withdrawal after program start date (12:00 am of date specified): No Refund
4. Dismissal from program: No Refund

Withdrawals from the program must be submitted in writing to the Florida office.

Prices, Programs, & Date Changes:

All prices, program offerings and dates are subject to change without notice. International Internships LLC reserves the right to change or cancel any program at any time for any reason. All applicants will be notified of any changes. Changes may be, but are not limited to: unforeseen housing, orientation, or exchange rate increases; visa fees; visa regulation changes that force modification of the program; cell phone, housing or other security deposits; course additions, etc
